General Description:
We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Lead with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 3-5 years specializing in infrastructure automation and virtualization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS design and solution architecture, as well as hands-on experience with Terraform. As a key member of the team, you will design and develop Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to implement secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and solutions.
- Implement and manage secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure integration and deployment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure clarity and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in cloud computing and infrastructure automation.
Must-Have Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and virtualization.
- Strong expertise in AWS design and solutions.
- Proficiency in Terraform, including writing and maintaining complex Terraform scripts and modules.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred).
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins using Groovy.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Bitbucket.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and working on large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of advanced security practices for infrastructure management.
Location: 100% Onsite in Jersey City, NJ.
