Areas of Expertise: Seeking candidates with experience in ground-up commercial construction, cold storage facilities, spec-warehouse development, or direct-to-consumer construction projects.
Position Overview: The Project Manager will lead the project team and take full responsibility for the successful execution of assigned projects. Key areas of focus include budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality control, and maintaining strong relationships with both owners and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion and accuracy of project objectives
- Organize and participate in meetings with staff, owners, architects, and trade partners
- Prepare contracts and change orders promptly
- Report monthly variance costs and budget updates to the management team
- Oversee all phases of construction, including safety, staffing, contract adherence, and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget
- Build strong partnerships with owners, contributing to the firm’s 80% repeat business rate
- Produce and assist in the creation of project close-out documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
- Minimum of three years of experience in multifamily and commercial construction
- Proven success in managing multiple projects with values ranging from $10M to $60M
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
