OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Engineering to lead all Manufacturing Engineering activities at our location. This role will play a key role in enabling our site and company success by consistently delivering year-over-year performance improvement through innovation and continuous improvement.
THE POSITION:
As the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, you will:
- Lead the Engineering Team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards. Delegate tasks effectively based on team members' strengths, driving outstanding results and fostering a supportive environment.
- Own the Release to Manufacture (RTM) process, ensuring technical specifications are accurately documented and executed for seamless production. Oversee the transition from design to production, addressing challenges swiftly.
- Champion Continuous Improvement by optimizing CNC cycle times, reducing downtime, minimizing scrap, and improving capacity utilization. Encourage employees to share ideas, fostering an environment where innovation thrives.
- Drive Employee Development by creating personalized growth plans, providing coaching, and fostering career progression. Focus on skill alignment and career growth to retain talent and enhance engagement.
- Collaborate across corporate functions, including HR, finance, and technology, to align engineering with company goals and support long-term growth, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Lead Strategic Deployment, setting KPIs, communicating goals, and ensuring alignment. Manage progress reviews and action plans to keep projects aligned with business objectives.
- Guide Process Development and Validation, integrating new equipment and technologies into operations while optimizing engineering processes.
- Contribute to Site Leadership as a strategic partner, participating in discussions to shape objectives, drive cultural growth, and build team capabilities.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering desired
- 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent mechanical aptitude required; must have ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Cutting tools and/or machining experience would be ideal.
- Ability to build trust, influence, and communicate at all levels of an organization.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
