Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in IBM BPM/BAW from 8.5 to latest 20.0.x version
- Experience with UI toolkits like Spark UI or BP3 Brazos UI
- Good understanding and experience on BPD Development, Decision Gateways, System/Manual Lanes and BPMN Notations
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer service and analytical skills are necessary
- Experience with integration services for integrating REST, SOAP and Java Ability to mentor junior developers
Nice To Have Skills & Experience:
- Exposure to Microservices, DevOps, Docker, Git, Containers, Cloud
- Exposure to Java, ODM, RPA or Angular/React JS
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology
Job Description:
An insurance client of Insight Global is seeking a Lead IBM/BPM Developer to join the Business Process Automation Team of the Corporate Technology Services Division. This person will work alongside about 15 other developers and systems analysts to design, develop, optimize and support workflows that are developed using Business Process Manager (IBM BPM) or IBM Business Automation Workflow (IBM BAW). Support will span across all lines of business as well in the Agile Transformation project. This includes but is not limited to: taking manual processes to automation, routing electronic work items across various departments, creating standardized workflows alongside reporting (automating and running rules), etc., across the entire enterprise. This Lead IBM/BPM Developer will spend 80% of their time coding and developing new applications and 20% of their time working with analysts to understand requirements and user stories. There is an on-call rotation 1x every 4 weeks at a very low request volume (10-15 tickets/day). This person is required to work on-site 5 days a week in Galveston, TX, and offers a competitive salary range between $100,000-$140,000 annually.
