Environmental Project Manager

We are seeking for a motivated Environmental Project Manager to join our client’s team. This role will support various environmental projects in the oil and gas sector. Our client is a mid-sized company focused on providing high-quality environmental services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and a good understanding of compliance regulations.
Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist in planning and implementing environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with requirements and timelines.
- Conduct site assessments and evaluate environmental impacts to identify risks and suggest solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers and field teams to create and execute project plans.
- Prepare and review technical documents and regulatory submissions in line with local regulations.
- Track project progress, identify issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate regularly with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in environmental consulting, preferably in oil and gas.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry.
- Good project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Leadership abilities to guide and support a diverse team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license.
