Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Investor Relations to join our dynamic team at Autzu. As the Head of Investor Relations, you will play a critical role in leading our financial operations, overseeing fundraising efforts with investors, and providing strategic financial guidance as we scale our business globally. This is an executive-level position that requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the CEO and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute financial strategies in alignment with Autzu’s overall goals and objectives.
- Lead the fundraising efforts, including identifying potential investors, preparing financial models and business plans, and presenting to potential stakeholders.
- Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost management, and investment evaluation.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, financial institutions, and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and other members of the executive team to support decision-making and drive business growth.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related busniess field. MBA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Head of Investors, Director of Finance, Partner or similar executive-level role in a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization.
- Strong experience dealing with top VC's and fundraising for startups
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading fundraising efforts, including securing investments from venture capitalists, private equity firms, or other funding sources.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external partners.
