As a member of our talented team, the Audit & Assurance Document Specialist will provide support to the PYA Audit and Assurance Department. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail who is highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide advanced-level document production support to the PYA Audit and Assurance Department to include preparing, reviewing, editing, proofing, and finalizing reports, correspondences, and proposals for client e-delivery utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- Detailed review of composition and grammar is required as documents and spreadsheets are large and complex
- Requires proficiency with copy-editing and formatting well as linking Microsoft Office Word and Excel documents in accounting software to create high quality work products
- Support the Audit and Assurance team with quality assurance tracking and follow-up to ensure deadlines and metrics are met
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, facilitating communication to clients
- Provide other administrative assistance to the business such as data entry and monitoring project manager emails
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced-level skills in the Microsoft Office suite with a focus on utilizing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create, revise, and/or finalize documents as requested by multiple team members
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and take ownership when dealing with support tasks
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines when faced with multiple/competing tasks
- Polished professionalism including a positive attitude combined with excellent oral/written communication skills
POSITION TYPE:
- Full-time. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Overtime required at peak times, and as needed.
