About The Role:
Our client, an esteemed multidisciplinary design and architectural firm, is looking for an experienced Lead Hospitality Designer to join their vibrant team. This position offers a unique chance to spearhead the design of luxury hospitality spaces, such as high-end hotels, exclusive residential developments, F&B venues, and condo projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the design team in selecting, specifying, and detailing interior finishes and custom-made furniture for a variety of hospitality projects
- Ensure an in-depth knowledge of FF&E specifications, hospitality brand guidelines, and standards for contract-grade furniture production
- Direct the process of designing and documenting custom furniture, including material selections, drafting design intent drawings, and preparing detailed specifications
- Work closely with purchasing agents, vendors, and manufacturers to assess shop drawings, approve material samples, and confirm adherence to the overall design vision
- Lead the preparation of project presentations and share progress updates with both the internal team and clients
- Partner with consultants, clients, and cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth project execution throughout all project stages
- Assess and approve material samples, prototypes, and strike-offs to confirm they meet the project’s design and technical standards
Key Skills/Requirements:
- A degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required, LEED and NCIDQ certifications preferred
- 6-8 years of experience leading projects, particularly within the hospitality design sector
- Extensive experience in custom furniture design and specification for both hospitality and commercial settings
- Expertise in interior design principles, including space planning, FF&E selection, and product sourcing
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
- Thorough knowledge of construction drawings, FF&E documentation, and adherence to hospitality brand guidelines
- Proven ability to oversee projects from initial concept through to construction, ensuring quality control at every phase
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for guiding teams and collaborating effectively with clients and vendors
