Production Manager

Join an established Jacksonville based company that’s been in operation for almost 100 years. This position will assist the Plant Manager to direct, coordinate, and facilitate the day-to-day production at the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of programs and procedures to maximize production, minimize waste, increase efficiencies, and maintain the quality and integrity of our products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the production process and coordinate all activities to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety of quality
- Ensure all safety and health standards are met and participate in safety and food safety audits
- Improve organization’s production process to enhance efficiency
Requirements
- 4 + years experience in manufacturing of food or related products preferred
- 2 + years experience managing and leading a team
- Bachelor's degree required
