Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring all members are informed of their roles and responsibilities.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project status.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in place and expenses are tracked accurately.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets company standards and complies with local regulations and building codes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues as they arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Tilt Wall Experience a plus
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
