LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Contract Packaging Engineer for a 6-8 month contract opportunity for one of their top clients in the CPG space.
This position will sit onsite 2-3 days a week in the western suburbs of Chicago and has the potential to extend in assignment or even convert.
Contract Packaging Engineer Responsibilities:
- The transformation of current Finished Good Specification content into future state SAP S4 Hana content
- Implement specification data quality standards and requirements
- Make necessary revisions and updates to excel templates and load files
- Communicate continuously with Symphony ITL Workstream on progress and status.
Contract Packaging Engineer Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels of management.
- Self-directed, motivated, and good time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the food industry, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- 2+ years of experience within Packaging Engineering.
