Major, Lindsey & Africa’s corporate client is seeking an interim, full time commercial contracts attorney to join their team for the next 1-3 years.
Overview: Interim Commercial Contracts Attorney
Company: Global food and beverage company
Experience: 4+ years of experience.
Location: Hybrid – Arlington, VA
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts including, but not limited to, vendor agreements and NDAs.
- Work from templates to draft agreements as well as amendments to current agreements.
- Partner with internal team members to insure agreements are completed in a timely fashion.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and active member of at least 1 state bar – Virginia bar license is a nice to have but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience handling a high volume of commercial contracts. Experience working within an in-house legal department preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with little supervision. There will be team members to assist if there are any questions when available.
- Must be able to travel into the Arlington, VA office 3 days/week.
- Experience working off various contracting templates.
