We are seeking a Service Department Project Manager to support our seasoned plumbing and HVAC team. This role involves overseeing retrofit and remodel projects, coordinating manpower, planning, ordering materials/equipment, and ensuring top-notch customer service. The Project Manager will uphold our commitment to premier service, effective communication, and successful project outcomes.
About the Role
- Plan, schedule, and support service operations.
- Conduct site visits, budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
- Work with NAMI’s operating systems and software.
- Collaborate closely with field personnel and subcontractors to plan and execute work procedures.
- Interact with customers, manage ongoing projects, and ensure all project needs are met.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Prepare billing projections based on project timelines.
- Maintain project tracking for compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Forecast labor needs and schedule manpower.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in a project management role or similar capacity.
- Field experience in construction is a plus.
- Must be highly organized, ability to multi-task, have excellent (written and verbal) communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- A thorough knowledge of commercial construction, plumbing and/or HVAC processes, and management techniques.
- Ability to travel to construction sites.
