Proposal Coordinator
The Proposal Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager of a mid-sized Architecture firm. This individual will be responsible for the production of Request for Proposals responses. One year of in-office experience REQUIRED (internships qualify) and Advanced InDesign skills (REQUIRED).
Job Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
o Drafting and editing resumes, project sheets, proposal text, and other items as required for the proposal process
o Managing the RFP as a project, including setting, enforcing, and maintaining a timeline for the successful completion of proposals
o Gathering information to customize RFP responses with input from Market Sector Leaders and/or subject matter experts
o Drafting initial responses to RFPs and other deliverables as assigned – edit content and coordinate graphics for a completed proposal that accurately reflects RFP requirements
o Contacting subconsultants from other firms to procure their information for inclusion in the proposal
o Providing quality control review and editing of all proposal and presentation material
o Ensuring all necessary elements have been included in the proposal document as required by the RFP
o Printing, binding, shipping, and tracking proposal documents with strict adherence to deadlines
o Other duties as assigned
Experience and Related Skills
Exceptional written/oral communication skills are required. This individual must have advanced experience with Adobe Suite (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and advanced Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). The ability to multi-task, take direction, and work in a fast-paced environment is a must. This individual should be a self-starter and be able to work independently in addition to collaborating with others. This position requires skills in organization, attention to detail, and strict adherence to deadlines.
