Title: Jr UI Developer
Location: 100% remote but local to NYC to go onsite on an as-needed basis
Duration: 6+ months Contract-to-hire

Job duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality user interfaces for both new and existing web applications using Angular and React.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UX/UI designs while maintaining high standards of usability and accessibility.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across a broad spectrum of devices.
- Lead and mentor junior developers in best practices, code quality, and software development processes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of application quality and performance.
- Work closely with backend developers and product managers to create seamless, integrated experiences
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and frameworks, particularly those related to Angular and React.
Job requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Angular.
- Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, SASS.
- Proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, familiar with Angular 17+, Typescript, ES6+, NodeJs, Webpack, Git. VS code – IDE, React. GITHub link of personal projects
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience of building component lib is a plus.
- Experience in the finance sector is highly desirable but not required.
