Our client is seeking a Sr Data Marketing Analyst in Miami, FL.
Role Description
• Design and develop highly visual, interactive, and layered Marketing Analytics solutions using Tableau. Set up analytics processes and dashboards for timely, actionable insights on marketing performance. Present insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Serve as day-to-day lead for global marketing ad-hoc requests, stakeholders span senior leadership to channel owners. Work across multiple datasets and vendors, using strong reasoning to answer the business questions being posed.
• Conduct in depth ad hoc analysis as identified by stakeholders, including but not limited to customer trends, promotions, competitive assessments.
• Responsible for the construction of basic to advanced SQL (Oracle / SQL Server) that provide the necessary data to support the business.
• Leverage strong understanding of relational databases, business analysis, and SQL code to mine data at customer and program levels to drive insights. Create insights on audience segments to inform targeting.
• Investigate dataflows with logic and SQL to answer business questions ad-hoc or with repeatable dashboards. Interact across multiple partners from a data perspective including data visualization suppliers, data warehouse, marketing data ops, customer marketing database supplier.
• Build new marketing tracking capabilities for an integrated approach to marketing performance measurement including opportunities, calls, web behavior, bookings attribution, or marketing media mix modelling.
• Maintain marketing data sourcing, structures and infrastructure that supports marketing measurement and reporting.
• Ensure that measurement datasets are complete, accurate and available to support decision making.
• Work with internal and external teams to continuously evolve our reporting and statistical methodologies and develop new ways of solving complex business problems.
• Manage ongoing vendor relationships as related to role including Data visualization supplier and decision science partners.
• Perform other job related functions as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field of study.
• Masters preferred; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and experience.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization, using SQL or BI platforms (Tableau, DOMO, PowerBI).
• Strong ability to use SQL for analyzing data. In-depth Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies. Project management and data warehouse technologies experience, preferred.
• Highly analytical with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Passion for using data to solve complex business questions and drive business solutions.
• Working SQL skills and experience in data, or experience building dashboards in visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or DOMO.
• Familiarity with key marketing technology suites such as Data Management Platforms, Attribution, Web Analytics and CRM.
• Experience in predictive modeling or data science also preferred. Demonstrated success working with cross-functional peers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organized with attention to detail and time management.
