Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Brand Manager to join our team. The Brand Manager will manage and uphold our brand image across all content and marketing channels. This role supports campaign planning, content strategy, and ensures consistency in brand-related activities. Additionally, the Brand Manager will actively engage with our audience on social media, representing the brand’s voice and values through on-camera appearances. The ideal candidate will have experience in brand management, content strategy, social media marketing, and public representation. This role has one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Management & Content Strategy:
- Own and maintain the brand image, ensuring consistency in all content.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand story.
- Support the overall content strategy and contribute to key messaging for promotional activities and collection launches.
- Oversee the selection of assets for the website, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the content team on stories related to photoshoots and campaign planning.
- Manage the campaign lock-up process and oversee creative briefing.
Copywriting & Communication:
- Draft and edit copy for email campaigns, SMS, advertisements, and video scripts.
- Manage the creative request submissions for email campaign briefs, including copy and asset requirements.
- Ensure quality assurance (QA) for email and SMS content.
Social Media Content & Strategy:
- Develop and execute an organic social media strategy.
- Actively engage with the audience on social media, representing the brand’s voice and values through on-camera appearances.
- Oversee the creator program, including approving creators for collaboration posts and branded content ads, managing the program budget, and overseeing gifting.
- Create and manage content for organic and paid social media campaigns.
- Support video ad shoots and other creative projects, including (BCA) ads.
- Collaborate with creative agencies on social media and ad campaigns.
- Develop and execute strategies for collaborations and giveaways.
- Provide creative feedback on all content and campaigns.
- Manage and mentor the Social Media Coordinator to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in brand management, content strategy, and social media marketing.
- Strong creative and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience representing a brand publicly, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with creative agencies and managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to capture and edit content for social media.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in content creation
- Comfortable being on camera
- Excellent communication skills
- Need to be LA / OC local so they can be a resource to the content team
Preferred Working Hours:
- 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific Standard Time
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
