ROLE: ASSISTANT TO WORSHIP & LITURGY
DEPARTMENT: WORSHIP & LITURGY
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP MINISTRIES
WORK HOURS: FULL-TIME
WHOM WE SEEK:
The Assistant to Worship & Liturgy provides clerical and logistical support to the Worship & Liturgy department. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the Episcopal faith or the willingness to learn about the Episcopal faith.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Worship Ministries
- Help ensure efficient and effective communication between Worship & Liturgy staff, ministry areas (e.g., Music, acolytes, Altar Guild), and volunteers
- Maintain calendars and schedules for regular and special Worship & Liturgy services and events, including maintaining eSpace reservations for all services and events
- Provide information and direction to parishioners seeking information about baptisms, weddings, and funerals, and maintain registries for these events
- Liaise with other departments and ministries (e.g., Operations, Finance, Formation)

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency with Teams
