Roles and responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance and management of the Compliance program, including risk assessment, policy and procedure implementation, compliance monitoring and complaints.
- Perform compliance monitoring and testing of various regulations.
- Develop policies and procedures to support compliance with federal laws and regulations and to include new products or processes.
- Help support regulatory audits and examinations and ensure timely responses to material requests.
- Provide sound and effective communication to senior management.
- Conduct ongoing training and assist with the development of new compliance training programs.
- Identify and track emerging compliance trends.
- Regulatory Compliance Testing
- Maintain knowledge of key regulatory laws and regulations (Reg B, Reg Z, Reg E, FCRA, BSA, AML) REQUIRED
Core Competencies
- Ability to comprehend and apply rules and regulations to monitoring and testing
- Demonstrated experience with financial services products
- Critical thinking skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance, Audit or Risk Management
- Experience in regulatory Compliance
- Ability to integrate and interpret laws and regulations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
