Reporting directly to the VP of Workforce Solutions, the Operations Manager will play a key role in providing education/insight, analysis and implementation project management support. This individual will be responsible for leading implementation projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, procuring and maintaining relationships with supplier and VMS partners. This role will contribute significantly to the development and deployment of innovative solutions to meet our client's workforce needs.

A Day in the life:
Operational Delivery:
- Help drive end-to-end implementation projects for new contingent and external workforce solutions ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, back-office operations, and technology, to execute implementation plans, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales, implementation, and hyper care phases, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Drive resolution to open items, keeping all parties informed and documenting results/processes.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements, translating them into detailed implementation plans and solution designs.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned, to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Aid in conducting thorough analysis of clients' contingent workforce landscapes, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing comprehensive implementation plans.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate clients on new processes.
- Act as point of escalation for program and VMS operational logistics (i.e. create, monitory and partner to resolve tickets, etc.)
- Provide assistance to Account Managers and team leads for scheduled client reporting and aid in completing all client paperwork for new resources (e.g. SOWs, change orders, PO requests, etc.)
- Monitor all program data for integrity, accuracy, consistency, correctness, etc. Correct errors or formatting issues.
- Provide training and mentorship to Workforce Solutions team, acting as secondary team lead.
- Craft weekly report to Tandym Leadership team providing updates on all strategic initiatives.
- Participate in crafting and delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews.
Strategic/Growth Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements, and contribute to proposal development, RFP replies, and solution design.
- Monitor existing accounts for data integrity, compliance, governance and business development opportunities.
- Join account managers and sales leads on client visits when workforce solutions options are being discussed; develop all prep and pre-meeting materials required.
- Develop industry knowledge and market insights to share with existing and new clients, identify new business opportunities, expand client relationships, drive compliance and drive revenue growth.
- Partner with the VP of Workforce Solutions to develop compelling market content and implement strategic initiatives. Create tools, documents, presentations, etc. in order to drive business growth, enhance service offerings, and differentiate our firm in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with other Tandym Teams to expand service offerings (e.g. the solutions consulting team).
- Act as a subject matter expert on contingent workforce management best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies, providing guidance and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of MSP/VMS industry experience with a strong focus in MSP/VMS program implementation and management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a BA/BS
- Proven track record of participating in successful implementation projects and driving business growth in a client-facing role
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset, capable of understanding client's business objectives and translating them into actionable solutions with the client's needs as the priority
- Experience working with VMS systems and other workforce management technologies preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail oriented focus with the ability to aid in management of the team's activities
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and MS Excel required
- Demonstrates partnership and integrity when discussing program challenges and potential solutions
- Skilled decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage time and competing priorities

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Tandym. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal pay parity relative to other Tandym employees.
