A leading hedge fund investment manager based in Miami, FL is seeking a Fundraising Assistant to help with business development and investor relations. Background in financial services or asset management is preferred. The position provides a unique opportunity to work as an integral member of a team with a long history of success. The candidate will be responsible for sales and marketing efforts to help expand the Firm's current investor base. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills who enjoys initiating and building relationships with potential clients. Seeking candidates already based in the Miami area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build and implement the firm’s marketing and outreach campaigns
- Proactively reach out to potential new investors through phone calls, emails and in-person meetings
- Monitor, track and manage the firm’s pipeline of prospects
- Maintain a dialogue and foster relationships with potential investors
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable connecting and interacting with potential clients
- Charismatic personality with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Acute attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a diligent work ethic
- Direct experience with investment fund sales
