Position: Experienced Investment Sales Agent
Location: Houston, TX
STRIVE is seeking individuals who are entrepreneurial minded, driven, and enjoy being a team player, to join our Sales Team as an Experienced Commercial Real Estate Agent, with at least 3 years of experience and has been a part of at least 10 transactions.
As a leader in the investment brokerage industry in Houston, STRIVE has room for only 3 additional experienced agents. Commercial Real Estate is a risk/reward business. Those at STRIVE who have been willing to take a risk, without a base salary, have out-produced their peers in other industries by a ratio of 10 to 1 or more.
Through STRIVE’s unique Senior/Junior training program you will mentor up to 3 juniors, sharing in commissions they procure while teaching them every step of a transaction. Each Agent has the support of our entire brokerage team, while benefiting from our marketing department, financial analyst team, transaction coordinators, and research department.
What You Can Expect When You Join
§ Hard Work – This is not a 9 am -5 pm job. High income earners in our industry make commercial real estate a way of life. “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.” We work long hours and find our meaningful work highly rewarding.
§ Calling – Our agents make between 200-300 calls per week. Successful agents are comfortable talking with strangers and have above average relationship building skills.
§ Mentorship - Individual one-to-one coaching with STRIVE Principals and Senior Leadership to transfer knowledge and accelerate ramp-up time.
§ Support- Agents have access to a support team of financial analysts, transaction coordinators, marketing professionals, research team, and seasoned leadership.
§ iSTRIVE Technology – Agents will have access to our proprietary database of over 114,000 properties and 98,000 investors, as well as proprietary market intel available only to STRIVE agents.
A day in the life of our experienced agents often includes
§ 3-4 meetings a week with Junior agents to procure new business.
§ Willing to make 300 calls per week to procure your own book of business.
§ Manage listings and existing client relationships.
§ Assist in all facets of the marketing and transaction management cycle.
§ Assist in conducting an aggressive new client business development plan for Junior agents to develop long-term relationships.
§ Analysis of new opportunities generated through business development.
§ Track, gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables, valuation models and client deliverables.
§ Review abstract lease documents, client quantitative portfolio data, legal documents, and other materials as part of the project due diligence process.
Requirements
§ 3 years of experience and has been a part of at least 10 transactions.
§ A strong desire and disposition to mentor younger agents.
§ Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
§ Entrepreneurial drive.
§ Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen relationships.
§ Track record of success: sports, personal achievements, or leadership roles.
§ A strong desire for meaningful work as a way of life.
