RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure preliminary shipping schedules from manufacturer facilities are within reasonable delivery times
• Develop shipment plan, including consolidation strategy and validate timely shipment
• Analyze and report on expected delivery timing to hub warehouses or DCs in accordance with applicable transit times
• Coordinate the execution of outbound shipment plans with hub warehouses and carriers
• Monitor on time delivery of purchase orders to DCs and coordinate recovery plans where necessary
• Coordinate receipt of Proof of Delivery (POD) for all shipments, analyze and resolve all quantity or quality related shipping discrepancies, coordinate the filing and resolution of claims in a timely manner
• Prepare logistics budgets for each program for review and approval of Supply Chain Manager
• Validate ocean related expenses, Canada carrier invoices and hub warehouse invoices and prepare for payment approval
• Monitor all newly created items and review logistics packaging specifications
• Prepare freight negotiation results package for communication to F&P team
• Validate and approve all franchisee price lists for each DC in Mexico
• Ensure all published pricing is accurately loaded into internal supply chain operational system to support distribution invoice audit process
• Reconcile pricing issues with team members and/or suppliers or distributor, as needed
• Address and resolve all restaurant operator pricing issues and requests
• Manage DC to restaurant alignment in internal supply chain operational system including validation with DCs, as needed
• Validate franchisee to restaurant alignment between internal supply chain operational system and distributor in Mexico, resolve discrepancies as needed to ensure applicable distribution fee is applied
• Manage all components of each DC’s fee in internal supply chain operational system to support distribution invoice audit and plate cost processes
• Manage DC fee to restaurant alignment in internal supply chain operational system including validation with DCs, as needed
• Prepare, approve, and report changes in diesel impacting DC fees in Mexico on a quarterly basis
• Draft and circulate NewsBriefs for timely communication of DC fee changes to operators
• Complete monthly restaurant and item level invoice pricing audit on a timely basis
• Perform pre-audits to proactively identify and mitigate pricing errors, work with respective DCs and/or F&P team, as needed, to quickly correct issue
• Communicate and resolve all pricing discrepancies with DCs, working with respective F&P team member and distribution manager, as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A four–year degree and/or direct and relevant experience which require the use of the skills described above. Relevant experience within an Asia logistics U.S inbound environment
preferred. Must have advanced skills in Excel.
This position is located in Miami, Florida. Candidate must be fluent in English and fluency in Spanish is preferred.
