PURPOSE:
Own and manage all assigned projects: purchasing, contract administration, change orders, billings, collections, cost meetings, client communication of a Construction Project from assignment to completion.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow the 31 Steps of the Construction Project as outlined in Best Roofing University, Our Story & The Fundamentals. Attend Best Roofing University learning sessions.
- Ensure all forms are being used and saved in the server for future reference.
- Utilize FollowUp CRM project management software to track and report on progress of projects.
- Manage project workflow daily and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
- Contract administration – read and understand all scope of work for your projects.
- Interact well with project management team (Project Coordinators, Construction Managers), always working together towards the same objectives.
- Coordinate with Construction Manager on logistics of material delivery.
- Schedule and track engineering inspections as needed.
- Understand and utilize the project tracking tool.
- Set up and maintain job cost (Computer Ease software).
- Coordinate meetings among project stakeholders such as pre-construction planning, introductory site visits, client meetings as required.
- Billings & collections to ensure timely payment from clients.
- Oversee and track submittal approval with client as required.
- Always prepared for Estimated Cost at Completion (ECAC) meetings and have a good understanding of where the project is as compared to budget.
- Provide accurate project budget updates, forecasts, and explanations for each project assigned to you.
- Provide good and consistent communication with each client on your assigned projects.
- Works with warehouse to pull inventory of leftover products.
- Register warranties.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Compliance with all Safety and OSHA requirements are met.
- Assigned projects are completed within or below budget.
- Days sales outstanding (DSO) meets or beats company objectives.
- Accurate project cost recording and reporting.
- Customer service meets or exceeds our clients’ standards.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a project manager in the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communicator and active listener.
- Computer literate (must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Word & Excel).
- Must have excellent math and language (both written and verbally) skills.
- Outgoing personality and approachable
- Ability to multi-task and take the initiative when needed.
