A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industry, is seeking an Audio/Visual/IT Technical Specialist for on-site support. Must have great customer service with emphasis supporting the corporate work sector. Additionally, comprehensive audio video skills. The ideal candidate would have an Associates level college degree in a technology related field and/or minimum 3 years of previous employment with AV support responsibilities in the AV industry.

The role is an onsite role to ensure the IT & AV infrastructure is operable to deliver Client and Business Partner Engagements that generate business for our client.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand, troubleshoot, maintain, operate, and enable others on the IT & AV infrastructure
- 30+ Windows, Mac and Linux servers
- Innovation Gallery (LED Wall; 14 9x16 Screens; 3 16x9 Activation Screens)
- Four Huddle Rooms (Webex Room Kit)
- Two Co-Creation Rooms (Triptych Webex Room Kit, Webex Companion Board)
- Two Boardrooms (Webex Room Kit)
- Digital Signage (four large screens, 10 Webex Room Navigators)
- Creston Touch Panels
- Collaborate with Engagement Leaders to ensure the IT & AV equipment and rooms are ready for use with Client Engagements
- Collaborate with Engagement Leaders to execute technical aspects of activations in the Innovation Gallery (e.g. switching screens during execution / manual Crestron routing)
- Collaborate with Solution Architect and Lead Technical Specialist in the technical development of Studio showcases (e.g. programming Crestron routing)
- Provide support for MS Teams or Webex meetings using Cisco Room kits or Mac Systems.
- Perform weekly preventative maintenance across the IT & AV Infrastructure
- Identify defective/failed equipment and own issues until resolved
- Assist Lead Technical Specialist in the operation and maintenance of the “Brown” Business Unit network, including maintenance of CISCO 9300 Managed Switches and BlueMarc Firewall
- Assist Lead Technical Specialist in the operation and maintenance of the Innovation Studio Activation Servers, 30+ Servers across Windows 11, Linux, MacOS
Required Skills
- Experience performing routine maintenance and problem diagnosis for LED/LCD Displays, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, servers, AV cabling, digital cameras and Video Conferencing Equipment
- Experience performing advanced AV related testing and troubleshooting
- Experience reading and utilizing blueprints and audio/video flow diagrams
- Experience programming Crestron touch panels
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Familiarity with Windows server maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with IT & AV Infrastructure change control practices
