We are looking for a Wi-Fi Performance Testing Engineer to test and validate Wi-Fi features and performance. In this role, you will work closely with development engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to create test plans, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality Wi-Fi functionality. You'll also be responsible for presenting test results to upper management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and run test plans to validate Wi-Fi features and performance.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand new features and create test cases.
- Set up test environments to troubleshoot issues and ensure functionality.
- Analyze and report test results to management, explaining findings clearly.
- Lead Wi-Fi feature testing and troubleshoot Wi-Fi-enabled gateways.
- Perform defect validation, sanity, and regression testing.
- Experience in Antenna Throughput.
- Support Testing of Wifi Gateways.
- Experience in creating new Test beds.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with traffic generators (iGen, Ixia Chariot, iPerf).
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi performance testing, feature validation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate test results to upper management.
- Experience in Band steering Testing
- Experience in Mesh Testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in Wi-Fi testing or networking.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting and validating Wi-Fi devices and features.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in Wi-Fi testing and the ability to lead and present testing results to management.
