Job Overview
Senior Commercial Lines Account Executives work closely with Commercial Lines Sales Executive(s) writing OCIP Programs, and our carrier partners in placing new business and servicing existing customers, while maintaining strong relationships with all involved parties. This position maintains a focus on OCIP programs, handling both master policies, and administration of the OCIP portal, which requires relationships with all enrolled contractors at various OCIP work sites. This position requires working in the OCIP Portal to keep it “real time” and communication with contractors and clients at all times.
Duties
- Market new and existing business to carriers to provide insurance solutions in partnership with the Sales Executive(s).
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, partner carriers, contractors, sales executive(s), and internal team with respect to claims representative.
- Partner with Sales Executives on new business and renewal strategy including participating in client meetings and carrier meetings
- Create professional Proposals and Renewal Summaries utilizing AMS360.
- Review all documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Run reports off the OCIP Portal and distribute both weekly and monthly.
- Process renewal of contractors and jobs in OCIP Portal.
- Keep OCIP Portal “real time”.
- Maintain Insurance Cost Worksheets in the OCIP portal for contractors.
- Upkeep of daily tasks to follow up on required items from contractors including reminders to report payroll, close out jobs, add subcontractors, etc.
- Upkeep of daily new enrollments, reaching out for required items to complete, reporting to carriers immediately to add to program.
- Professional and friendly, outgoing communication with account leads, and all contractors.
- Multiple calls throughout the day to assist contractors with urgent enrollments, required items, and assisting with questions and process procedures.
- Participating in Contractor meetings, Job Site Managers, to present OCIP overview and training sessions, both in person, and via TEAMS on a regular basis.
Skills
- Insurance and OCIP knowledge with comfort in discussing coverage and OCIP information with underwriters, insureds, and contractors.
- Knowledge of policy rates, exposures, and calculations for construction and contractors.
- Strong PC skills, with the ability to effectively utilize the agency's management systems, the OCIP Portal, Microsoft software products, and carrier resources
- Strong commitment to work independently within an extremely fast-paced, changing environment and needs of the OCIP contractors
- Pro-active, with the initiative to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Commitment to utilizing all areas of running the OCIP program efficiently and effectively to maintain “real time” functionality and interaction with Contractors in the system.
