Summary:
This role is for an Engineering Planner for Leonardo, based in Philadelphia at AWPC, working on all experimental prototypes and programs for AW609 Tiltrotor Helicopter. Responsibilities include being a focal point for all planning of specific engineering projects, review, and coordinate planning activities for engineering, create and update project/program Integrated Master Schedules, take progress on engineering activities and analyzing outputs/KPIs, and provide status on the Integrated Master Schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate with the Chief Project Engineer and the main engineering technical areas planned activities to ensure linked and integrated operational engineering plans
- Participate in project control and progress review activities and KPI analysis activities to derive management values from the plans
- Coordinate engineering activities with the requirements of other areas such as Program and Product Organizations working with the program IMS
- Coordinate Operative Budget alignment and Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)
- Develop plans in conjunction with engineering technical leads, to identify plan inputs, outputs, dependencies, and links, and to plan program activities to seek the optimum use of engineering personnel
- Progress the task status of plans on a regular basis for achievement and cost.
- Provide program status reports, collate, analyze, and supply performance information and key performance indicator data and timely financial management information relating to those projects and tasks assigned
- Assess and report on the performance of work package activities in respect to allocated budgets and schedule, providing the appropriate management information or contract deliverables.
- Undertake cost center workload and capacity analysis and to resolve queries from engineering personnel on booking numbers and resource control activities
Education:
- BS in Business (Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Project Management) or or an Engineering field
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in project/program planning or similar experience in Supply Chain Management
- Proficient in MS Project planning tool, or similar tools Primavera
