Our client, a leading industrial services company, is seeking a dynamic Traveling Construction Field Manager to oversee multiple large-scale projects across the central United States. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, challenging projects in various industries, with potential for growth and advancement.
Travel is required, primarily in the Midwest. The position involves managing projects across different locations away from home.
Job Duties:
- Lead on-site construction aspects of multiple projects simultaneously
- Be comfortable with 90% of the projects being in the Midwest. There is a lot of travel in this role.
- Develop project schedules and coordinate activities of vendors and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Participate in business development initiatives and customer presentations
- Manage project documentation, financials, and change orders
- Oversee project completion, including punch list and commissioning
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, focusing on piping and industrial projects
- Extensive knowledge of various piping and boiler systems
- Proven track record managing multiple large-scale projects
- Proficiency in field management software and construction management tools
- Experience in food processing, heavy manufacturing, or power plant industries preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively in the central United States
