Sales Representative (Full-time Position)
Job description
HFR is searching for results-oriented, ambitious sales professionals to join our growing sales team immediately. The position will assist the Senior Managing Director with various sales & marketing processes including lead generation, customer support, marketing campaigns and administrative reporting. This work will give you the opportunity to build upon sales and marketing experience, while gaining exposure to the alternative investment industry.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Finding sales leads among institutional investors and hedge fund firms;
· Qualifying sales leads by corresponding with various company prospects;
· Updating Salesforce records regarding company sales;
· Providing first level customer support for company hedge fund analysis products;
· Supporting the workflow of the company sales team;
· Depending on progress, obtaining initial experience as a salesperson of various company products
· Potentially creating marketing materials for select HFR products under the supervision of the Senior Managing Director of the division
Minimum Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Skilled at effectively utilizing tools such as Excel (experience with Salesforce a plus but not required)
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Solid organizational skills with sharp attention to detail
• Good work ethic, results-oriented, flexible, patient and adaptable
• Broad knowledge and interest in the investment industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Interested in learning about the hedge fund industry and its participants
• Values gaining sales experience and thinks they would enjoy a career where significant income comes from commissions based on their success
Compensation:
$40,000 Base Salary plus Sales Commission
