Role & Responsibilities:
Apolis is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for our expansion in the Dallas, TX area. Apolis is a well-established IT staffing and services firm with almost three decades of industry experience. We are ideally seeking candidates with direct experience in selling staffing and services, both onshore and offshore.
The Business Development Manager will be identifying prospective clients, developing relationships, and closing deals with companies in need of specialized IT talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT industry, staffing, and recruitment, combined with a passion for building client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential clients in need of IT staffing and recruitment services through various channels such as networking, cold calling, industry events, and online research.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers (C-level executives, hiring managers, etc.) to understand their staffing needs and position the firm as a trusted partner.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets, including identifying market trends, understanding competition, and leveraging company strengths.
- Negotiation & Closing: Prepare and deliver effective presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the firm.
- Collaboration with Recruitment Team: Work closely with the recruiting team to understand available talent, industry trends, and client requirements to provide the best-fit solutions to clients.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics to report progress, successes, and areas of improvement to senior management.
Qualification:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within IT staffing, recruitment, or consulting services.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of IT roles, technologies, and trends, as well as the staffing and recruitment industry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
