Construction Manager
Allied Resources is currently looking for a Construction Manager with an Energy company located in the Greater Philadelphia Area. The Construction Manager will be present on the jobsite providing construction oversight, overseeing utility work done by subcontractors. These will be high-voltage infrastructure projects, and candidates need to have direct experience overseeing Transmission, Distribution, and/or Substation projects to be considered.
A day in the life:
- Provide constructability feedback during design and walk downs
- Review Bill of Materials and assist with managing material availability
- Develop work scope for construction bid documents and assist Project Manager in bid evaluations
- Responsible for the coordination and oversight of all construction activities involved in a project
- Monitor contractor(s) on safety, cost, quality and schedule performance
- Run safety briefings with contracted construction crews
- Initiate Scope Change requests
- Elevate document deficiencies and Provide Planning support to the project team as required.
The wish list:
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience working as a Foreman, Crew Lead, Superintendent, Construction Manager, etc.
- Experience on Substation or Transmission Line Projects
