The Vendor Management Office (VMO) oversees strategic sourcing, purchasing and contract review for the IT Managed Services portfolio of clients. As the Manager of Sourcing and Analytics, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and leveraging data analytics to optimize our procurement processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sourcing activities, managing vendor relationships, and utilizing analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations to enhance our procurement strategies. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the sourcing strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Manage the sourcing process, including identifying potential vendors, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and selecting vendors.
- Develop and implement Sourcing Evaluation process, a proprietary analytics solution, to provide data-driven insights & recommendations to clients that generate additional revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply chain industry.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret sourcing data, including supplier performance, pricing, and quality metrics.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
- Prepare strategic Vendor Management materials for Client, Client Engagement, and Service Delivery Management teams.
- Navigate vendor channel programs, seeking to maximize incentives and rebates.
- Support Telecom Expense Management function –manage telecom contracts & inventory, carrier dispute management, liaison to 3rd party TEM, and field ad hoc telecom inquiries.
- Perform other operational duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, supply chain or management information systems preferred.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization. Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing a team.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the sourcing and procurement field.
- Experience in a Professional Services environment is a plus.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization.
