Supermomos has just opened up one spot for a Chief of Staff and Deputy General Manager, San Francisco Bay Area. Team is very plugged into the tech & VC ecosystem, and we're willing to coach :) This opportunity will provide great exposure to the SF Bay Area tech community, learning about a range of tech topics, network-building, and doing everything at a start-up! You will get to dabble in almost every function except for engineering. This role is also similar to that of a Chief of Staff and "mini-CEO" of the city.
An ideal candidate is curious, capable, hungry, takes initiative, loves meeting new people, and interested to try a wide range of roles such as product, marketing, community-building. Recent graduate with 1-5 years of work experience is preferred.
Additional job description:
- Growth and marketing – manage social media accounts, create content, design posters
- Community – attend events, build relationships with users and community builders, user research. These events provide great networking exposure (see past speakers/partners for our events: https://www.supermomos.com/featured)
- Operations – ensure fulfilment and smooth running of events, including set-up, registration, hosting & moderating panels, and managing volunteers
- Business Development – work on sales material, prospecting new leads, follow-up on leads, potentially pitch clients
- Product – research, do mock-ups / prototypes, work with tech team to build out product features
- Great attitude and initiative, good work ethic and communication skills
- Passionate about building communities, consumer / tech, and learning
- Comfort with ambiguity, change, and fast pace
