Our large manufacturing client is looking for a plant manager who will be responsible for overseeing the safety and efficiency of daily operations, as well as planning for both short-term and long-term goals. They manage various departments such as manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, environmental health and safety, shipping, and receiving. Their focus is on developing new technologies, continuous improvement, and translating customer needs into advanced manufacturing strategies and processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Leads the safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, forecasting, and routine business reviews across multiple locations with the support of plant leadership.
- Ensures that the cost of poor-quality meets or exceeds standards, aiming to reduce scrap costs and improve both internal and external quality.
- Oversees supply planning, including capacity planning, labor and machine forecasting, financial reconciliation, and execution of the plan.
- Manages costs to meet profit and loss targets, improve gross margins, and achieve budgeted goals for earned hours and absorption requirements.
- Lead the overall strategy for people management, focusing on safety, well-being, organizational culture, and workforce planning. This includes promoting engagement and inclusion within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
- 12 years of experience in a manufacturing organization.
- 5 years of management experience, with a track record of driving change and improving processes and production.
- Experience driving safety transformation within a large manufacturing plant
- Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience within SAP

Compensation:
$215,000 - $250,000/year + Annual Bonus
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
