Job Purpose:
Responsible for developing new accounts within their territory through cold calling, market research, and targeted strategic sales. Responsible for the overall growth and profitability of their territory, for making compelling product presentations to chefs/buyers, and consistently closing each business opportunity while maintaining the highest standard of customer service excellence.
Skills and Specifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Sustainable Proteins, Whole Animal Butchery, and the Restaurant Industry.
- Proven track record in Sales and Account Management.
- Impeccable customer service.
- Able to efficiently and effectively meet sales driven and account management goals.
- Needs to have sturdy problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be a flexible, supportive, helpful team member in a collaborative work environment.
- Willingness to continue education and learn the skills required for the Inside Sales role.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for sustainable agriculture.
- Possess solid computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Vista Trac, and QuickBooks or other enterprise solutions.
Please Note: This position often requires work hours more in line with customers’ ordering habits, so holidays/time off may be at different times, in lieu of time off that the rest of the company may be taking, or may not be available at certain times of the year.
