GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for receipt, verification and processing of membership and revenue enhancement responses. Ensures appropriate processing of incoming financial transactions for both internal and external customers. Determines and prepares appropriate correspondence replies when required. Mail Handling that includes sorting, opening, and delivery without physical limitations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participates in data entry of control logs for production analysis and process documentation.
- Responsible for ensuring membership is appropriately prepared for accurate and timely processing in accordance with various internal deadlines, including National Target Dates.
- Receives, sorts, edits and batches revenue enhancement responses, DMS responses and Headquarters Post renewals to ensure timely processing of valid applications and appropriate handling of all others.
- Processes and deposits credit card payments using electronic credit card authorization software. Responsible for verification and accuracy of data. Prepares and distributes related reports.
- Assists in training of existing and new personnel on job procedures and operation of related equipment.
- When needed, performs data entry duties for the other functional areas of Data Services.This requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of Legion policies and MMIS Data Entry Standards.
- Researches and responds to inquiries or problems relating to the various programs.
- Assists other areas of Data Services as needed during peak operations or in the absence of support personnel.
