Position Overview:
As an IT Project Engineer at DivergeIT, you will be responsible for managing and executing various IT projects, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to travel to client sites as needed to ensure successful project implementation.
What You Will Do:
- Provide Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure, Avigilon Alta, and Microsoft 365 Project Engineering Support.
- Follow established directions and procedures for project execution.
- Engage in analysis and troubleshooting to resolve client issues.
- Maintain regular customer interaction via phone, email, teams/zoom, or in-person to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance service delivery and project outcomes.
- Utilize PowerShell and shell scripting to automate and streamline processes.
Experience:
- Experience working on projects
- At least 2 years of IT Experience.
Certifications:
- MD-102: Microsoft Endpoint Administrator
- SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator
- SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and shell scripting.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects to completion.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
