What You’ll Be Doing
You’re going to be talking to prospective users of our software products. A lot. You’ll conduct qualitative research on how prospects currently address their Construction Project Management Program needs. Your audience will range in responsibility, and you will be comfortable engaging anyone from senior execs to project managers.
Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day schedule could look like:
- Daily hunting and prospecting.
- Follow up on inbound and outbound leads, including leads generated through marketing and business development efforts.
- Conduct thorough discovery process.
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
- Preparing and hosting product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate with prospects to close new contracts.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Projectmates’ products, technologies, competitors, and industry trends.
- Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits or other events.
Desired Skills & Experience
- A strong hunter mentality with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and ultimately gain their trust and respect.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the SAAS industry.
- Experience in hosting virtual product demonstrations.
- Excellent business insight as well as good relationship building and consultative skills.
- A consistent track record of generating new business.
- Have a structured approach to lead management and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management.
- The ability to prioritize in a multifaceted, changing environment.
- Well-organized and has strong follow through.
Where you'll be working
This is a hybrid full-time role based out of our Richardson, TX office. Monday-Thursday will be spent in-office and Friday is a work-from-home day.
