The Job
You will process all incoming orders creating a checklist for each order package. You will follow up on each order with vendors for lead times & status and advise clients on the status of their orders in a timely manner. You will advise freight forwarders of incoming shipments, retrieve delivery documents, check those documents against our paperwork, receive into inventory in QuickBooks, invoice and ship.
Responsibilities
The details are important to get right 100% of the time. We are exporting goods out of the country so steps cannot be skipped or missed. You must be detail oriented and like reading (it's not a book, but you have to read). You must be open to productive conversations while learning the position without melting down. You must know how to use QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. You must read, write and speak fluent English.
Qualifications
- Must know fluent English (read, write, speak)
- Must know how to use Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Must have QuickBooks experience
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the export business (position doesn't matter)
Location
Kendall near Costco on SW 120th Street
Hours / Days
Monday - Friday from 10 - 4 (9-5 is available)
We will never ask you to work late or on weekends.
Paid Holidays Off
Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (on a weekday), Labor Day, Wednesday - Friday for Thanksgiving week and the last two weeks of the year. You'd also have 5 paid days off after a 90 day probation.
Compensation
$21 per hour, paid weekly
