Project Scheduler/Manager (Confidential Client) – Miami, FL
Salary: Up to $120K, Target $100k
A Confidential Client in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler/Manager with advanced expertise in Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex project schedules, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of scheduling processes for large-scale construction projects. This role will focus on analyzing, validating, and enhancing project timelines to ensure optimal performance and timely delivery. Primavera P6 proficiency is mandatory and will be critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate the accuracy and credibility of schedule analysis performed by the General Contractor, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Leverage Primavera P6 to perform comprehensive schedule analysis and provide recommendations to improve schedule performance through workarounds, lessons learned, corrective actions, and acceleration plans.
- Conduct in-depth time-impact analysis and evaluate schedule impacts due to project changes or claims, including adjustments required from change orders.
- Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews of the overall program schedule on a weekly basis, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Lead weekly status updates for Program Schedules and Master Schedules using Primavera P6 to track progress and adjust timelines as necessary.
- Work closely with the project team to evaluate and monitor the General Contractor’s progress schedule, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Review and evaluate schedule-driven change orders, as well as Time Impact Analysis/claims submitted by vendors, ensuring that they are justified and in line with project schedules.
- Conduct schedule-based Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to assess how any proposed change orders will affect the overall project timeline, using Primavera P6.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project scheduling and management within the construction industry.
- Must be fully proficient in Primavera P6 with hands-on experience in developing, managing, and analyzing complex project schedules.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience in performing time-impact analysis and handling schedule-driven claims and change orders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
