We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager of Risk and Compliance - Project Management for our Enterprise Risk Consulting – BFSI global team.
This role requires you to assist PMO in program management, execute issue management, develop training materials, and handle PMO assignments from a project risk perspective. You are required to work with different Lines of Business (LOB) to track and close issues, create and share training materials as per the program requirements and assist PMO in mitigating risk observed during project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing a robust issue management program structure for the Technology Risk Advisory (TRA) Technology Risk Training and Program rollouts.
- Identify, document, and manage program issues throughout the project lifecycle and assist in developing and implementing issue resolution strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
- Ensures frequent communication of issues and/or identified risks including control deficiencies in need of remediation on a timely basis to the appropriate stakeholders and senior management.
- Participate in meetings with the business to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Assist in creation of comprehensive training materials as per the program requirements.
- Assist in conducting training sessions for project teams to enhance their understanding project requirements.
- Update training content regularly based on feedback and evolving industry standards.
- Assist PMO in identifying potential risks in projects by gathering input from stakeholders and reviewing historical data and analyze it using qualitative and quantitative methods to assess their impact and likelihood.
- Assist PMO in developing risk mitigation plans that include preventive measures and contingency plans.
- Collaborate with program leaders to identify relevant stakeholders and coordinate with them to meet program objectives.
- Assist in development of reports and dashboards to be shared with executive leadership teams.
- Work with Program Managers, SMEs, and TRA team members to develop key program documentation, maintain deliverable timelines, and ensure timely leadership reporting.
- Manage program requirement using MS Excel, Jira Workforce Management (JWM), and other tools. Maintain program documentation, communication plans, and end-user guides.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, issue management, and developing training schedule ideally in risk management or technology risk programs.
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Excel, Jira, and Workforce Management systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Familiarity with file management and collaboration tools (e.g., Box, SharePoint, or similar).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop and manage program documentation and executive reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, or Risk Management.
- Experience in managing technology risk programs or working in a Technology Risk Advisory (TRA) function.
- Experience in issue management program.
- Familiarity with tools such as MS PowerPoint, Jira Workforce Management, and Box for document storage and version control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track, report, and mitigate project risks and issues.
“The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.”
