Key position functions include:
- Working with Import forwarders to ensure best routing of inbound and outbound freight
- Approval of freight and crating invoices for processing
- Provide tracking for Ocean, Air and Truck freight and communicating that statue of these shipments internally as required
- Develop KPIs for group as directed by Supply Chain Manager
- Support the set up and maintenance of formal contracts for courier, truck, air and ocean providers for incoming and outgoing freight
- Provide inbound/outbound freight quotations as required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by Supply Chain Manager
- Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. Guiding principles, Health, Safety, Quality and environmental regulations and polices
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- College degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics or equivalent experience
- New grad or 1-2 years’ experience in logistics including experience with customs
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Solid negotiating skills and Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Advance proficiency using MS Office applications
- ERP Skills (SAP preferred)
- Working knowledge of 6A and 6D Wellhead, Gate Valve Check Valve and Chokes would be considered an asset
- Working Knowledge of HTS classification system
- Understanding of manufacturing environment
- The ability to work effectively individually or in a team environment
