WHAT YOU’LL DO
- The Director of Housekeeping oversees the ADOH and all leaders and hourly associates in the department. Position typically 500+ Rooms.
- Responsible for upholding financials, training, development and long-term planning for the department.
- Proactively researches and suggests cost savings plans.
- Addresses productivity issues - identifying and solving issues
- All management hires complete their Flight Plan on time and thoroughly.
- Maintains positive and active relationship between housekeeping and all other departments
- Drives action planning and goal setting for GSS, BSA, AES, P&L, Turnover, etc.
- Identifies trends and institutes solutions to proactively avoid guest issues.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- The Director of Housekeeping will accurately forecast and adjust staffing levels to meet Labor Standards for the year.
- Expert level knowledge of all required computer systems: GXP/HotSOS/HyGEO, PMS, Medallia
- Intermediate knowledge of budgeting and long-range forecast process
- Expert level knowledge of TM1, P&L, and P&L Critique
- Coaching and disciplinary and performance reviews of managers and assistant directors.
- SMART Goal Setting and Action Planning
- Managing up to senior hotel leaders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills towards team, other hotel departments, guests, and owners
