Universal Surveying and Mapping is hiring a qualified Civil Engineer/AutoCAD Specialist for our office in The Woodlands, TX!
Requirements:
- One to three years CAD related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of principles/practices of Land Surveying and Mapping
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of current auto insurance
Essential Duties:
- Prepare drawings using Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems.
- Create drawings for construction projects.
- Draw topographical and relief maps to aid in design.
- Draft technical details.
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
- Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.
- Prepare variations of design.
- Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.
- Write metes and bounds descriptions.
- ODOT experience preferred but not required.
