Our Production Manager is responsible for the daily fabrication and installation metrics of the facility. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all job functions, promoting a quality finished product delivered to the customer. The individual must have proven experience working in a production environment supervising multiple departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Owner of plant processes - continuous strive to improve efficiencies and productivity while retaining the highest possible quality of finished product.
- Achieve fabrication goals - study production schedules and estimate work hour requirements to ensure schedules are met.
- Manage the scheduling process to meet the customer’s expectation and demand.
- Coordinate workload of crews; prioritize job assignments.
- Maintain compliance of company policies, safety standards, quality specifications, regulatory requirements and sanitation practices.
- Manage maintenance of production equipment.
- Inspect quality of work in progress and finished products.
- Assist staff in resolving problems/issues.
- Participate in the training, development, and evaluation of subordinates.
- Support and adhere to all company disciplinary action procedures.
- Occasionally drive company vehicle to job sites and other project areas.
- Assist in the counting of physical inventory.
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience combined.
- Positions of increased responsibility with proven management and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
- Strong leadership skills and engagement - brings energy and passion to the workplace to bolster morale and engage with employees to follow your example. You will spend the majority of your time on the production floor.
- Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Mathematical skills; ability to understand dimensions such as square footage, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multi-task, handling numerous assignments simultaneously with quick transitions.
- Bilingual in Spanish required
