About the Role
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and final testing benchtop analyzers in house while exceeding customer expectations of Safety, Quality, and Delivery. This position is also responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform installation, training, and servicing of XOS analyzers. The application of excellent troubleshooting practices and the highest commitment to customer satisfaction are paramount to this position. It requires strong interpersonal skills as this is a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience as it relates to our company, our products, and our services.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general electro-mechanical troubleshooting of XOS benchtop analyzers. This individual will be expected to perform diagnostic investigations, troubleshoot electrical failures down to board level, as well as troubleshoot mechanical failures and make all needed repairs within a ten-day window.
- Communicate with XOS technical support team throughout each diagnostic/repair cycle.
- Refurbish X-Ray engines. Perform diagnostics, beam replacement and beam alignments on these engines to bring them within service specification.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs of all XOS instruments.
- Perform preventative maintenance service visits.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or local equivalent (i.e., GED).
- Minimum of two (2) years of service technician experience.
- Previous experience in a mechanically-related field required.
The hourly range for this role is $19.00 to $21.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
