Clarity Partners is seeking a Senior Manager located in Chicago, IL to lead business development efforts while simultaneously managing client facing project work.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to plan, direct, and coordinate Clarity Web Practice project goals and objectives. Manage a portfolio of projects and assist in expanding that portfolio.
- Stay abreast of competition, market trends and competitor activities.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base
- Conduct research to uncover trends and client pain points to form innovative, customer-centric solutions.
- Develop potential new clients in the private sector.
- Supports launch and management of procurement and purchasing processes. Able to identify solutions to improve timeliness of deployment and rollout.
- Drive the vision, strategy and operations for multiple existing client facing projects.
- Create, develop, implement project plans by assessing client needs and project specifications.
- Establish project timelines, workflows, and budget to tracks progress and ensure deliverables are on schedule and within budget.
- Leads meetings between project stakeholders, maintains meeting minutes and prepares project evaluations and assessment of project results.
- Build strong relationships across Clarity Partners to ensure quality execution and continuous improvement.
- Manage day to day activities and relationships with clients to strengthen overall partnership.
- Ensure professional, accurate, and timely communication to complete tasks and resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated understanding of technical development and full lifecycle application development projects.
- 8+ years’ experience proven project management work experience in software implementation, application development, and/or web services.
- 5+ years in business development, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, including e-Commerce-based project work.
- Demonstrated experience in generating new sales, expanding market presence and networking in order to drive business growth.
- Familiarity with technologies including, but not limited to WordPress, Drupal, Shopify, Sitecore, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Additional knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
- Solid communication, documentation, and business analytical skills. Able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Conforms to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through problem-solving capabilities.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
