YOUR ROLE
The IT Field Support Professional will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT network infrastructure/ solutions in order to contribute to a first-class IT Management Service for our operations. This role operates in complex decision-making environments that impact CEVA Operations with the ability to provide network stability and an exemplary end-user experience.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Major Essential Functions:
• Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support network devices i.e. Cisco/HP switches, VeloCloud Routers, Ruckus/Cisco AP’s, Cradlepoints & management software.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and/or respond to outages.
• Manage, research, and resolve complex end-user escalation incidents.
• Test and perform upgrades and patches to installed operating systems and software.
• May develop plans, schedules, and requirements for deployment of systems.
• Perform defined processes and practices to manage systems, software, and networks to ensure consistent and reliable operation to meet the business needs.
• Work with Office of Information Security to monitor threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities for Installed systems; implement response plan for various types of threats and attacks.
• Create and maintain system documentation of processes, procedures, plans, and configurations.
• Manage and maintain hardware inventory of network switches and other devices.
Minor Essential Functions:
• This function is accountable for providing input in IT Cost Model Estimates for cluster IT initiatives.
• Accountable for managing documentation portfolio for the center of excellence as we well as establishing, and monitoring use, of industry best practices in the delivery of solution.
• Accountable for managing the workload of center of excellence (project) team members, assigning work to other individuals on the team for completion, meeting project deadlines, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Accountable for providing input into sound fiscal management of IT projects ensuring budgets are met and realistic time/effort/cost measures are put in place. Qualification Requirements:
• Associates degree preferred, In IT Management, Supply Chain Management, or comparable experience in the logistics industry.
• ITIL Foundation
• Technology/domain-driven
• Strong expertise within functional domain or technology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Pre-employment drug screen required • Pre-employment background check
• ability to influence effectively and negotiate effectively
• Able to communicate effectively in English language both orally and in writing
• Able to communicate effectively in local language both orally and in writing
• Able to resolve conflicts

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
• Relevant technical or management qualifications (CCNA/Prince/ITIL etc.)
