Our client is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to support RCE Initiatives (Risk, Controls, Enhancements)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with work stream leads and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and identify learning needs.
- Create and implement a portfolio of risk and control development solutions that provide significant benefits.
- Set the standard for innovative learning design, ensuring solutions are relevant, fresh, and engaging across various digital learning mediums.
- Oversee learning project plans through the ADDIE life cycle, taking initiative to conceptualize and lead experimental projects with guidance from leaders and experts.
- Continuously assess programs against expectations and processes, recommending and implementing changes to drive efficiencies and tighter integration with other workstreams and programs.
Qualifications:
- Program design and development, including assessment strategies, instructional design, adult learning approaches, audience analysis, and outcome measurement.
- Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Authoring tools, particularly Articulate Storyline Suite.
- PowerPoint presentation construction.
- Facilitator and instructor guide creation.
- Ability to work effectively both as a team member and as an independent L&D consultant.
- Strong consulting, influence, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
- Program and project management skills.
- Ability to form strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Cutting-edge knowledge of best practices in learning asset design.
- Experience designing eLearning programs and learning assets in a digital environment that generate engagement.
- Experience consulting with internal clients to identify needs and translate them into solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in an educational, corporate training, or professional services environment, preferably in a compliance or risk and controls space within a GSIP financial institution.
- Experience in vendor sourcing and management.
- Experience in instructional design for both eLearning and classroom settings.
- Previous experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
